Employee Considerations

• System will allow, at a minimum, the following specifications for each employee:

• Describe ASAAP's security features

• Does ASAAP control access through a secure personal identification process?

• Does ASAAP provide for multiple types of security at the network, individual computer, Interactive Voice Response, and modem access levels?

• Does ASAAP allow employees with itinerant schedules to report an absence, whether for a partial-day or several days?

• Does ASAAP record the time the employee called to report the absence and provide a confirmation number for the employee absence reported?

• Does ASAAP allow a unique calendar of workdays for each employee and is the employee able to access and modify this information over the phone?

• Does ASAAP include a scrolling calendar view of each employee's schedule?

• Is the employee able to call and confirm a particular substitute without using the automated calling system? How is the information inputted into the system once the substitute is confirmed?

• Does ASAAP allow for scheduling of more than one absence in the same day?

• Does ASAAP inform the substitute of all schedules and allow the substitute to accept all time frames for continuity purposes?

• Does ASAAP allow personnel to call the system and modify the description of previously reported absences, including but not limited to

• If a substitute is already confirmed for a specific date and time but the absence is then changed (by the administrator) how does the ASAAP cycle through to ensure a substitute is confirmed for the new data?

• Does ASAAP automatically allow administrators to view or retrieve the schedule of absences and substitutes confirmed?

• How many certification fields with expiration date fields does ASAAP allow for each employee?

• How many miscellaneous fields per employee are available for other information?
